Finding a cleaner path

My favorite morning ritual is riding my bike. It's a chance for me to slow down and clear my mind. Yet, on many mornings it can be a stressful experience. Pollution (noise and air), bad drivers, and poor road conditions all contribute to my stress. What if there was a better method to find your way around the city? What would our rides and runs look like if our navigation model optimized for air quality? With that idea, Scenic was born. John Sylvester and I entered this year's PennApps competition with the goal of telling a thoughtful story about a better way to get around cities. Along the way, we worked with the HERE.com API to build a rendered example of our vision.
